Spend three nights and four restorative days on Magnetic Island with acclaimed writers and publishing professionals, developing a short piece of creative writing and honing your creativity: through workshops, encounters, and reflective practice inspired by tides, reef, weather, and island ecologies.
Led by award-winning writers Paul Hardisty, Rachel Hennessy, Lucy Christopher, Manisha Anjali, Mia-Francesca Jones, publishing-pro Rose Michael, and JCU’s Associate Professor Victoria Kuttainen, this retreat invites participants to be inspired by place. Suitable for all levels, the program combines craft sessions, island-based observation and guided creative development.
