For more than 30 years, Melaleuca Strings has been a familiar part of North Queensland’s live music scene, performing at weddings, celebrations and special events across the region. Comprised of professionally trained Townsville musicians, the ensemble is renowned for bringing elegance and artistry to every performance.
While many audiences know Melaleuca Strings from these occasions, Unplugged and Restrung offers something different. This intimate concert showcases contemporary pop favourites reimagined for string quartet, revealing the versatility, creativity and musicianship at the heart of the ensemble.
