Community groups that incorporate drums or percussion into their performances are invited to play a special featured role in The Rhythm Gathering. We welcome expressions of interest from cultural and community ensembles, including Pacific Islander log drummers, African drumming groups, Brazilian percussion ensembles, pipe and drum bands, Torres Strait Islander groups, Japanese taiko ensembles and other percussion-based traditions.

Open to all ages and abilities, these fun, interactive workshops will teach the rhythms, cues and techniques used during the main event.
