Join Komet Torres Strait Islander Dance Group for a hands-on weaving workshop and discover the traditional art of weaving with palm fronds.

Learn from experienced Komet members as they share their knowledge and techniques, guiding you through the process of creating your very own woven item. Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment while learning about the cultural significance of weaving and the skills passed down through generations.

This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to connect with Torres Strait Islander culture, learn a traditional craft and spend time creating alongside members of the Komet Torres Strait Islander Dance Group.

This workshop is free with places strictly limited to 25 participants. Book early to secure your spot.
