Crimson Confluence is a powerful, deeply personal performance by Kerrod Box, taking you on a raw journey through his queer identity. At the centre of the show is a red robe that symbolises transformation; starting as a weight representing societal pressures, shifting into a protective safety blanket, and finally becoming a sexy backless dress, embodying confidence and liberation.

The performance traces Kerrod’s evolution from a closeted rural life to embracing his authentic self, navigating the struggles and joys of being queer, and ultimately finding stability in love and understanding.

Through contemporary dance and physical theatre, Crimson Confluence invites the audience into the emotional highs and lows of the queer experience. Red is the central theme, brought to life through props, projections, and lighting, each symbolising different emotions. Though a one-man show, it introduces multiple figures, reflecting the diversity of queer identity.

Crimson Confluence is a celebration of resilience, passion, and authenticity, offering an immersive, thought-provoking experience. This heartfelt performance reflects the complexities of queer existence, inviting the audience to experience both the empowering and challenging sides of living authentically. Don’t miss this intimate and transformative show that shines a light on the beauty of living your truth.
