To mark Dancenorth’s 40th anniversary, A Live Moment is a wildly joyous celebration of dance - unapologetic, inclusive, and deeply communal. Drawing on four decades of creative legacy, this work invites us to move and be moved, dissolving the boundaries between performer and participant, past and present.

Like a house party spilling through every corner of our home, A Live Moment activates hidden spaces and sparks unexpected connections. It is a mash of archives - stories, bodies, and walls - reimagined and reawakened through rhythm, sensation, and electric togetherness. A moment alive in every sense - unfolding here, now, together.
