Wide Horizons is a documentary film by Pippa Samaya about a small regional dance company making waves across the nation.
An intimate portrait of the critically acclaimed Dancenorth, weaving through the company’s life at home in tropical North Queensland and joining them on the road as they embark on the largest regional tour of a contemporary dance work this country has seen to date.
A visual feast that celebrates the love of dance, living and working in regional places and true and meaningful connection to community.
Spotlighting the truly remarkable and invigorating work Wayfinder, you are invited into a raw and personal behind the scenes insight into the highs and lows of life on the road, backstage and in the studio. Spreading a way of being that moves from the heart, this company is truly a tonic for our times.
Please note: This is a film screening.
