Tailor made for audiences aged 0-3 and filled with performance, puppetry and play ‘What’s In The Woods?’ is a gentle welcome to the world of theatre.
"Such an amazing show! I took my 8m old twice as he was captivated by the story telling and loved playing with the props after. Super interactive and a developmentally appropriate show that changes/grows based on your child’s age. Can’t wait for next time 🙌🏻" - Fringe Feed
“Fantastic. Such a safe and welcoming space.” - Audience Review
"What's In The Woods?" sessions are split into 3 age groups, 0-1 years, 1-2 years and 2-3 years. Each session runs for 45 minutes with approximately 20 minutes of story and 25 minutes of sensory play in the space.

Accessibility:
Backbone Theatre for Babies is designed to be as accessible as possible, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all families. We recognise that attending theatre with an infant or toddler can feel daunting, so we’ve created a relaxed, judgment-free environment where caregivers and little ones can engage in whatever way feels right for them. Our performances are built with flexibility in mind; babies can feed, cry, nap, or explore freely without fear of disrupting the show.
Change facilities are available within the performance space for ease and comfort, and we provide carer resources to support mental health and well-being. By prioritising accessibility in both our space and approach, we ensure that every family can enjoy theatre in a way that feels safe, supported, and stress-free.
