CANCELLATION NOTICE
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that the planned remount of WATERSONG by Shannon Jensen will not be going ahead. An unexpected tragedy has touched the family of one of our cherished cast members, and in light of this, the production has been cancelled.
At times like these, words feel small. Our deepest sympathies and love go out to the families and cast affected by this heartbreaking loss. We know our community will join us in holding them gently in thought and spirit.
All ticket holders will receive a full refund, which will be automatically processed by TheatreiNQ in the coming days. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we take this time to prioritise care and compassion.
WaterSong is back by public demand for a return season at NAFA 2025.
A dry creek bed lies still, slowly dying, mirroring the fractured relationship of the Joinbee Family who grew up along its banks. Three generations, separated by secrets and shame, return home one last time. And the Women are waiting. "Little girl keeps coming. Reminding me that time's almost up."
