Discover the beauty and biodiversity of our oceans through two inspiring short documentaries. Experience a stunning tribute to the Great Barrier Reef, blending whale song, cello, didgeridoo and breathtaking underwater imagery by Rike Wolf, before diving beneath the waters of Yunbenun (Magnetic Island) with Dr. Leon Zann to explore its vibrant marine life and fragile reef ecosystems. Together, these films celebrate the wonder of the ocean and the importance of marine conservation.

Inspired by Australia's tropical oceans and filmed at the Great Barrier Reef, Ocean Song serves as a celebration of marine life and a heartfelt plea to protect our oceans and reefs, blending underwater sounds and whale song with the resonant tones of Cello and Didgeridoo, composed and directed by Cellist and Eco Sound Artist Rike Wolf.
From tidal sand kays to colourful coral reefs, the film explores a dialogue with the marine world and migrating whales. The calls of endangered mammals, seismic blasts and plastic pollution confront human impact on marine life and serve as a call to protect the sea and all life it holds.
