Join the Komet Dancers, a local Torres Strait Islander family dance group for an immersive and interactive workshop exploring the rich traditions of Torres Strait Islander dance.

Learn traditional dance movements while gaining a deeper understanding of the stories, culture and connections expressed through dance. Discover how movement can be used to share stories, celebrate community and honour the traditions passed down through generations.

Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply curious to learn something new, this welcoming workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with Torres Strait Islander culture through movement.
