What do you get when you mix low self-esteem, iffy innuendo and lots of prune juice? I would say verbal diarrhoea, but that's probably not very marketable.
Ingrid Johnson is an emerging spoken word poet and musician from FNQ, who is excited to bring her first solo show, an assortment of musical comedy and slam poetry she's proud of, to NAFA in 2025.
Having previously headlined at the 'Best of the Best Poetry Slam' at CPAC in 2023, and being named Walk-Up Poet of the Year at Woodford Folk Festival in 2024, Ingrid is keen to explore both the deep and light-hearted aspects of the day-to-day in ‘Johnson’s Out’.
