A joyful exhibition inviting us to see parents through the eyes of their children. Created through her internationally acclaimed I See You Like This project, renowned Australian participatory artist Jessica Wilson works with children to capture their unique perspective as they transform a parent or significant adult into a playful work of art.
Presented throughout Townsville Shopping Centre, this vibrant exhibition celebrates imagination, family and the creative voice of children. Funny, surprising and deeply heartfelt, every portrait reveals not only an extraordinary artwork, but a moment of trust, connection and rebellion.
Wander through the collection and discover what happens when children become the artists, adults become the canvas, and everyday family connections are transformed into unforgettable works of art. Workshop places are available for parent and child pairs to create a one-of-a-kind portrait together in this fun, hands-on experience.
