Australia’s favourite touring comedy festival is heading back to Townsville this October!
We’re returning to the lush lawns of The Ville Resort-Casino for a twilight session of wine, tunes, gourmet food and six of Australia’s most-loved comedians taking to the stage.
Alongside NAFA, we’re bringing you a massive lineup of comedy talent. Expect a fast-paced gala-style showcase with comedians rotating throughout the afternoon.
It wouldn’t be a festival without our resident DJ Pedro Moshman behind the decks, spinning tunes before, between and after the comedy sets, with the Coral Sea as your backdrop.
There will be some chairs available, but no guarantee and there is no allocated seating. You may bring your own chair if you'd like.
Can I bring my own wine/ wine glass?
You will receive a complimentary Grapes of Mirth cup on arrival. If you wish to bring your own wine glass, it needs to be clear plastic. BYO wine and alcohol is not allowed. You can only bring sealed bottled water or an empty water bottle to be filled at the venue.
Does food have to be ordered in advance or can it be ordered on the day?
Yes, hampers and hot food will be available to purchase on the day however they did sell out last year so to avoid disappointment, please book your hampers in advance.
What does VIP ticketing cost?
Includes exclusive use of the pool and viewing from the pool deck area. There is no allocated seating for VIP. You can bring your own chair if you'd like.
Can I bring any outside food?
Outside food is not allowed. You can only bring sealed bottled water or empty water bottles at the venue. We recommend pre-ordering your hampers to avoid missing out on the day.
Will there be other drinks available at the bar including beer, RTD's and non-alcoholic options?
Yes, there will be an extended bar menu including beer, wine, RTD's and more.
