A Songwriting Showcase - Community Concert
Join Townsville artists Sarah Lane, Joshua Lane (The Lanes), Rudy Matoy and Jimmy James for an inspiring evening of original music, storytelling and community connection.
This free community concert celebrates the voices, experiences and creative spirit of North Queensland through a diverse collection of original songs inspired by people, place and culture. Through live performance and storytelling, audiences will experience music that reflects the unique perspectives and stories of local artists while highlighting the power of song to bring people together.
Performing as The Lanes, sibling duo Sarah and Joshua Lane are known for their heartfelt songwriting and authentic performances, while Rudy Matoy and Jimmy James bring their own distinctive styles and stories to the stage. Together, they create a rich and engaging showcase of local talent.
The concert follows an afternoon songwriting workshop, offering audiences the chance to experience both the creative process and the finished work.
